The Potter’s Hand

Hello darling!

I felt led to share this powerful video I came across today with a beautiful brief sermon included.

Let us make it our duty to be at a place where we are moldable, pliable and fit for the master’s use…We cannot afford for issues of this life to hinder us, make us feel bitter or condemned. That is just a plan of the enemy because He knows in our wholeness and surrendering to Christ he has no power, moreover every strong hold is broken and foundations of hell is shaken! Be encouraged through the truth of God’s Word my friend that time in His beautiful presence is the place to be daily so you can be that vessel He pours into to do a new and beautiful work just where He has planted you. He may not do the work you thought in the place and time you imagined but you know what, your mind-set and resolution to serve the Lord no matter what will not be shaken! Because we know He will bring to pass the desires He has laid on your heart in its suitable season and time.

I’ve posted the lyrics and worship video that sums up this marvelous message as it reminds us of a musical prayer to be formed by Jesus and  remain in the potter’s hands:

THE POTTER’S HAND

Beautiful Lord,
Wonderful Savior,
I know for sure
All of my days are
Held in Your hand,
Crafted into Your perfect plan.

You gently call me
Into Your presence,
Guiding me by
Your Holy Spirit.

Teach me dear Lord,
To live all of my life
Through Your eyes.

I’m captured by
Your holy calling,
Set me apart,
I know You’re drawing
Me to Yourself,
Lead me, Lord, I pray.

Take me, mold me,
Use me, fill me.
I give my life
To the Potter’s Hand.

Call me, guide me,
Lead me, walk beside me,
I give my life
To the Potter’s Hand.

You gently call me
Into Your presence,
Guiding me by
Your Holy Spirit.

Teach me dear Lord,
To live all of my life
Through Your eyes.

I’m captured by
Your holy calling.
Set me apart,
I know You’re
Drawing me to Yourself.
Lead me, Lord, I pray!

Take me, mold me,
Use me, fill me.
I give my life
To the Potter’s Hand.

Call me, guide me,
Lead me, walk beside me,
I give my life
To the Potter’s Hand.

Stay there, live there, thrive there…
Lovingly & prayerfully,
Stacy Zant 🙂

Jesus Be the Center~He makes all things Beautiful!

As I came to the conclusion of reading “Disciplines of the Spirit” a recommended reading by a dear professor of mine, I swiftly began to wonder what will be the next book I read to encourage spiritual growth? Then, I … Continue reading

Vision

Only His best will do!!!

As I prepare for an upcoming speaking engagement I came across the scripture above and it had me thinking about a number of different things. Sometimes, we think we know what’s best for our lives, but each and every day we live on this earth we see how little we know and how important it is to consult our maker, our all knowing, all seeing, omni-present father and friend. He IS the very BEST consultant we could ever need.

This weekend should be an interesting one! Every day leading up to this weekend will make it all the more interesting…Tomorrow, I have a grant workshop for GOAL and then a few meetings and appointments to take care of before the dawn of a new season begins! While I was connecting with a brother about the possibility of his daughter attending an upcoming girls conference I was reassured with the reason why the Lord has given me this burden and passion to minister in different ways to a unique and prized group. If the World can place so much emphasis on winning the attention and hearts of our girls and guys, shouldn’t we reach out and do all we can to positively fight back and win their attention and hearts!  What a blessing it is to serve and bless the churched (Let brotherly love continue…Hebrews 13:1) and the unchurched (…Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares-Hebrews 13:2) , it is for this very reason why the Lord has given me a window to see a picture bigger than my self, the community non-profit ministry Girls and Guys Organized for Anointed Living, Inc. and education…thank Jesus for His infallible Word!

I’m truly excited to see what new adventures await and until then, I am “A” o.k. with the window I am looking through-this vision of mine is becoming clearer each and every day I seek my Lord’s face and His direction!

Embracing a role of support-Health & Wellness

You guide me with your counsel,
leading me to a glorious destiny. (Psalm 73:24 NLT)

As I continue to seek Jesus and His Word for that “pure and holy passion” He has made it clear to me there are a plethora of reasons why He has placed me on this earth. I drove my husband to his branch this morning and what an early start it was to rise early with him and then come home for a nap time. I awoke and realized I had tons of laundry to do, however it was important to take some time to get my mind in tune with what the holy spirit wanted to do this day! So, after devotion with my savior I was ready to get some work done around the home. I am enjoying this relaxed time because i have a feeling things are going to pick up tremendously again and this time I have to be mindful of all the other priorities that must remain a priority! Preparation has already begun for tomorrow’s interview and it is my goal today to have everything related to my soon to be experience and passion completed. The Lord not only has a sense of humor but He sure knows how to prepare us for a role we will have to fill in ministry and in our community! When my husband mentioned He had been to IBC Music Fest (A Music Conference I was researching) he told me he went to that conference in 2006 and I couldn’t help but voicing that “From then you had a keen interest in music and even though it was never your desire to be a worship pastor the Lord positioned you to fill that role for such a time!” Look, how our master and Jesus works! Is’t He a wonder!? I could bring that same analogy over in the support role I would have to play as he leads on his job and at church.

About a year and a half ago, I didn’t know health was going to play such a formative role in my life. I have always had a desire to help people so it was amazing to be given the opportunity  to schedule and coordinate speaking engagements in undeserved communities on behalf of a Health services client. What I didn’t know was that serving in this capacity during my earlier years of marriage would allow me to serve in a greater capacity later where Health and Wellness is concerned. I pray I will be able to further connect with health professionals who are truly making a difference in this very much needed area of expertise and I look forward to sharing snippets of the joys and perhaps disappointments, mostly joys of serving in this area where there is desperate need!
