Be Radiant No Matter the Cost!

There is a story I’ll share tonight behind these photos my husband and I passed on our walking trail last week and I this morning.

Let’s have a talk and walk with Jesus this morning! This morning I arose with an even greater resolve to immerse myself in the Word and to learn more of what it means to be like Jesus! If our Christian walk in this world is meant to make us more like Christ, we can expect we will be rejected, misunderstood, criticized, mistreated, pushed around, all the horrible things us humans cringe from and at all cost! We, as Christians on the other hand must fight for what we believe in no matter the cost! Our advantage as a Christian is that we have hope than cannot be lost because Christ on our side! God is fighting for us! Thank you Jesus! We are made conquerors in Him!!! I am always reminded of this when I have a little walk and talk with Jesus. When I have opposition, Jesus shows me He is my defense!

I not only believe the lyrics of the song ministered by Darlene Zscech and entered as a link above, but every morning I make it a priority to read the Bible Verse of the day like so many others! I want to encourage you to make this a habit if you have not already began to do so. The YouVersion Bible Verse of the day always seems to relate to a situation I am going through or it ministers to my deepest heart desires in some way! That’s the Word of God for you, but more than that, I refuse to take a particular verse at face value on first glimpse, I must dig deeper! So I proceeded to do what is customary, read the entire chapter where that verse is taken from. Romans 8 is a powerful chapter of what life will be like in Christ as a CHRISTian! With headings like “Life Through the Spirit”, “Present Suffering and Future Glory” and “More Than Conquerors” How can you not be enthralled to read further and see what God meant for us to know through His Word.

We will delve into this together a little deeper tonight as our fast continues, and as we meet to pray about the kick-off to the Summer Reading Tour tonight by conference call. For convenience, here is our conference call line:

Conference Dial-in Number: (712) 432-1500
Participant Access Code: 1080543#

I believe, this Summer has already shaped up to be a most dynamic ministry filled summer. I love the people of God, my husband, home church, my family, those who support or do not support me because I still believe every person in and outside the body of Christ has been sent into my life for a beautiful purpose! In some way I intend to view every circumstance, even the not so pleasant ones as a means to draw me closer to Christ and His image. I love that this concept on the “Image of Christ” was brought forth a few times in the Word delivered yesterday in church.

Please read the verses with me highlighted below: (I believe this scripture speaks for itself, but every person, based on your past experiences and your present story of suffering, you’ll relate to this scripture differently with a great testimony that needs to be shared!  I’d love to hear from you!)

Present Suffering and Future Glory

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that[h] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our heartsknows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Talk to you soon! With Radiant love and prayers,

Stacy Zant 🙂

A Beautiful Purpose

During these seven days of “Seeking His Face” I am praying the Lord will renew and revive His righteous passion within me. “But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill” Psalm 3:3-4

I am so grateful for this scriptural reminder that the Lord will protect us, He will cover us, He will sustain us and He will answer us! We have a great covering around about us when we trust and rely on the almighty. People may rise against us (Christians) as they did David but we have a powerful weapon of prayer, praise and perseverance.  Life is filled with many tests (whether they be spiritual, mental or emotional) but we must remember in whom we put our trust!

***The Lord has great plans for you right now so don’t allow anyone to make you feel or believe otherwise! While you continue on this worship filled journey, remember there is no one person the Lord cares more about than the other. He loves us all the same. People may treat you unfairly but you hold such great value and anointing. Keep close to Christ and your confidence will not be shaken! ***

As of last week, I am a year older and I have come to the realization that I am changing as I am learning. Thankfully, I am growing as I am experiencing life in all it’s beauty. I have come to terms with the fact that everyone’s journey is different and while we can learn from another person’s mistakes, we can learn from their triumphs too. However, be careful not to think that if you duplicate another person’s behavior you will get the same results. Jesus has a distinct purpose for each and everyone of us and a method to get us there. What may work for one person, may not work for another person, so it is important we take the the time to hear from the Lord for ourselves.

We live in a time and generation when we do not need to go to a priest to speak or hear from the Lord. How blessed we are! We are all His children and He is calling each and everyone of us to a deeper place in Him. Will you seek His face with me?

I have learned from a number of friends recently who are experiencing many tests and trials and I want you to know you are not alone. My desire is to be transparent as I’ve been in the past with hopes that it will help someone along on their spiritual journey. As I study the heartbeat of God, I am encouraged. “Lord help us to be the sincere, soul searchers and winners you’ve always called us to be.”It’s not about doing (planning quality events) but being and making a quality difference in the lives of others, especially those who are misunderstood, sidelined and cast out for whatever reason.”

Here are a few notes I’ve jot down from my personal studies:

*Nothing and no one can take away what the Lord has placed inside of you. It may seem to be at bay (a standstill ) for a season, but please be sure it’s what the Lord wants for you, not man.

*Humans should not dictate where you should be spiritually, emotionally or otherwise. Seek the Lord’s perfect will and follow hard after Him.

*Let Jesus show you the way. Sometimes, you  have to fight your way through…the scripture did say we must be willing to take up the cross (Matthew 10:38) as a disciple of Christ.

*When Jesus says to move, just move. Operate under the influence of Christ. He knows your heart when you are intimate with Him.

*Daily enter into communion with Christ. Let Him see if there be any wicked way in you and root it out.

While you do all that,

*Help others and if God has positioned you to do so, look for opportunities to help other people’s dreams become a reality.

*Sometimes when you choose a specific path or door there is no turning back, so be prayerful. You must first hear from God, discern and acquire His wisdom and make the decision to honor Him.

If there are any specific notes that minister to you, I would love to hear from you! please feel free to connect with me by email at stacy@anointedliving.org or leave a comment here. It would be an honor to learn more about you and be in prayer with other purposeful people of God or those who desire to be that as we move forward this new year.

Words cannot express my excitement for what God is about to do. As I prepare to teach personal bible studies and students in the next month please pray with me: “Lord have your way!”

Lots of love and prayers,

Stacy Zant

The Potter’s Hand

Hello darling!

I felt led to share this powerful video I came across today with a beautiful brief sermon included.

Let us make it our duty to be at a place where we are moldable, pliable and fit for the master’s use…We cannot afford for issues of this life to hinder us, make us feel bitter or condemned. That is just a plan of the enemy because He knows in our wholeness and surrendering to Christ he has no power, moreover every strong hold is broken and foundations of hell is shaken! Be encouraged through the truth of God’s Word my friend that time in His beautiful presence is the place to be daily so you can be that vessel He pours into to do a new and beautiful work just where He has planted you. He may not do the work you thought in the place and time you imagined but you know what, your mind-set and resolution to serve the Lord no matter what will not be shaken! Because we know He will bring to pass the desires He has laid on your heart in its suitable season and time.

I’ve posted the lyrics and worship video that sums up this marvelous message as it reminds us of a musical prayer to be formed by Jesus and  remain in the potter’s hands:

THE POTTER’S HAND

Beautiful Lord,
Wonderful Savior,
I know for sure
All of my days are
Held in Your hand,
Crafted into Your perfect plan.

You gently call me
Into Your presence,
Guiding me by
Your Holy Spirit.

Teach me dear Lord,
To live all of my life
Through Your eyes.

I’m captured by
Your holy calling,
Set me apart,
I know You’re drawing
Me to Yourself,
Lead me, Lord, I pray.

Take me, mold me,
Use me, fill me.
I give my life
To the Potter’s Hand.

Call me, guide me,
Lead me, walk beside me,
I give my life
To the Potter’s Hand.

You gently call me
Into Your presence,
Guiding me by
Your Holy Spirit.

Teach me dear Lord,
To live all of my life
Through Your eyes.

I’m captured by
Your holy calling.
Set me apart,
I know You’re
Drawing me to Yourself.
Lead me, Lord, I pray!

Take me, mold me,
Use me, fill me.
I give my life
To the Potter’s Hand.

Call me, guide me,
Lead me, walk beside me,
I give my life
To the Potter’s Hand.

Stay there, live there, thrive there…
Lovingly & prayerfully,
Stacy Zant 🙂

I Love Your Presence

There’s no other place I’d rather be than in His presence! the Lord’s presence, my husband’s presence…so divine! What a joy and blessing it is to experience such love, such beautiful, wholesome love. Jesus only wants us to spend intimate time with Him, to Know Him and His Word. There’s no question as to why we go through the things we do, the tests, the trials, the relationships we experience come to make us stronger!  my have I been tested from a child growing up, I’ve learned the battles we face sometimes in our minds-are thoughts that mean to tear us down. However, through the reassurance of God’s Holy Word and His promises we can rise above and become conquerors. The Lord HAS given us the VICTORY! You and I are a walking testimony of God’s Grace and the fact that we are breathing today is evidence of his promise to keep us, take care of us (1Peter 5:7) so there is no need to worry but trust He will supply our every need (Philippians 4:19) Yesterday, all over the country the media and consumer driven outlets made the most out of a day that celebrates love. My husband and I exchanged one of our most authentic and intimate moments over a home cooked meal. In that time we exchanged verbally love notes written in our Valentine’s cards, gifts and what I imagined to be one of the best ‘candle-lit dinners’ we could have shared on that day. After all was said and done, as my husband was finishing up his meal he asked me, “Honey, where did you learn to cook like this?” my response? Over time, I’m learning…(I didn’t do much cooking as a child but I suppose it’s the Island and God in me that is making me better for my family!) my heart glows when my husband would rather choose a home-cooked meal over eating out simply because to him it’s better.

  • 2 fresh Publix Salmons-$11
  • Seasonings of all kinds meant to last for a while-$30 something
  • A pleased adoring husband and God-filled home-Priceless!

There is such peace in knowing and doing what is best during the season God has placed us! Now that I look back, it is the one-on-one presence that makes our time together so fulfilling, this is just a piece of what we enjoy when we are in the Lord’s presence….I Love, I Love, I love Your Presence, I love, I love…I love You Jesus!

My Mind Is Made Up!

About a year ago this time, It was hard to make a decision about anything! Even my past co-worker, college peer and my all around sister (we volunteered together, led together and we were in each other’s wedding) vocalized the fact that she’s seen a tremendous growth in me when it comes to making decisions since last year January when I decided to give Commercial Real Estate a try! To be frank, pursuing something that is not your passion can get real dry and real draining real quick! If you don’t mind yourself, I could take it a step further to say if you pursue your passion without balance, that can drain a sister as well! I just realized a path I was pursuing was not my calling and not my passion! I am aware not everyone can decide right away that they will divert from a certain path when there are bills that need to be paid, but I am a walking testimony that “All things work together for good!” when you are given an opportunity to pursue your calling and passion while you are still young and there are no major responsibilities in the picture, like children count that a great blessing from the father. My T-sister (I respect her privacy and the choice she has made to not be a visible web network participant) and I talk a lot about this, we figure the best time to go out and pursue- is during a stage when you can master a particular area without dividing interests. Man, I sure am going to miss a lot of our day-to-day girly inspirational talks, but we’ll just have to make appointments to have tea and talk instead.

So, on to what my mind is made up about, I’ve decided along with my husband of course that I will pursue this call to further my knowledge and education in The Word alongside taking care of my home/ my husband and ministry duties at church and in the community through the faith based non-profit-GOAL. So, needless to say I will have my hands full because I desire true balance and pursuing this holy passion for our lives, the Lord will give us the grace. I have put off officially editing “Pearls of the Earth” and completing the sequel long enough and the time has come to complete what has been started because “My Mind Is Made Up!”

For this upcoming month of February, my goal is to re-organize and stay on top of things inside of my home. Continue to prioritize time for my husband for “Red Hot Monogamy” a concept we read together during our premarital counseling in Gary Smalley’s book “Love is a Decision.” I desire for my husband to always know just how important he is to me without the need for me to say it. Like most wives, it is also my  desire to show him my love without excuses of being tired and busy. Our love nest is strong and I am so grateful to Christ for that! However, I know for us to keep moving forward with one vision and one mind with love, constant communication and actions demonstrating our love and commitment to each other will need to grow stronger as we grow…point, period, full-stop.

Little things like mending a button on his suit jacket, mending a tear in his pants means so much to me and I get that overjoyed feeling that I am fulfilling one of the most important roles a woman who is a wife can play when my husband turns to me in his newly mended pants and says “Thank you baby, this fits perfectly, you did a great job!” I also want to leave this earth with the Lord saying the same: “well done, my faithful and passionate servant!” This is my pure and holy passion to please God first in the decisions I make, the degrees I strive to pursue to bless my home, the lost and His kingdom and be the very best support my husband would ever need or desire.

Stay tuned, as I prepare to accomplish this goal and connect with others through real conversations of those living the life God has called us to, be a witness, know his Word, be ignorant of nothing and study to show yourself approved! The Countdown to the conference (I’ll tell you more about this later) has begun. Wherever the Lord opens the doors and makes a complete way, I will follow with a passion to accomplish His perfect will.
